About

Derive Architecture & Design believe in creating meaningful and engaging spaces.

We are a Newcastle based practice of architects and designers, established in 2004.

We work on a range of project types from bespoke houses, education, tourism and hospitality environments.

Our practice is built on experience, and is client focused. We are dedicated to the making of architecture that is in dialogue with existing conditions whether natural or built, constraints are a starting point for our designs. We have an appreciation for the craft of making and admire the skills of the trades that work closely with us to assist realising our projects.

We offer expertise across the range of architectural practice and building scale including feasibility, master-planning, design documentation, detailing and contract administration.
